Support Us: Fuel the Furnace of Creativity

Producing & Nurturing Talent

Since opening in 2004, we have diversified and evolved to become a world-class arts centre and Welsh cultural landmark. In partnership with arts organisations from across the UK and beyond, we are creating and developing new productions of the highest international quality across our stages.

"It's an operatic scale theatre. Every single show I've had there has been phenomenally successful. And so many of my leads for my show are Welsh - it just feels like the right place to do it"

One of the founding principles of Wales Millennium Centre was to be a place for people of all ages and backgrounds to explore and participate in the arts.

Our extensive programmes of free and participative activities include: Breakin' the Bay, Divali, Black History Month and Chinese New Year

"What is most impressive about Wales Millennium Centre is how it represents all of us; all generations and all of the multicultural communities in Cardiff"
