Business Development

Business Development is a broad portfolio which covers a diverse range of teams, ranging from visitor services and operational management to event and conference sales, the Centre’s business partners and the in-house catering operation, including ffresh.

The Centre’s Front of House team leads the customer care programme in the organisation, which has led to the Centre winning the Visit Wales 2007 Quality and Customer Care award and the Theatre Management Association Most Welcoming Theatre award 2008.  The Centre is the only UK theatre to have been short listed three years running for this national award. 

The portfolio is responsible for leading the development of Tessitura, the organisation’s central IT package and Customer Relationship Management tool used by the Centre’s Ticketing, Marketing and Fundraising teams.  The system also services the needs of its consortium partners, National Dance Company Wales , BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
