Doors: 8.15pm
Performance begins: 9pm

Huw V Williams double bass
Devin Grey drums
George Crowley sax / clarinet

Winner of the 2012 Yamaha Jazz Scholars Prize from Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Huw draws on a rich combination of his Welsh roots, his training in jazz, and the contemporary creative music scenes in London, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. With a fast growing CV lit up by the names of some of his heroes including Jim Black, Michael Blake, Jason Robello, Neil Yates, and long-time mentor Huw Warren, Huw V Williams is building a beautiful bass filled world of free music and primal creativity.

Huw is joined by Devin Grey and George Crowley:

"Creative and multi-dimensional as a drummer, Devin's playing is always sensitive and musical. He has the extraordinary ability to listen deeply, performing with some of the most important voices in today's music" Steve Grover on Devin Grey

"Rugged, clever, crisply played contemporary jazz, from a fine young player" John Forham on George Crowley
