Can you find the Arctic animals hiding in the Centre?

Created by local artists and makers, this year the Centre will be home to 6 Arctic animals. Collect your trail sheet from the Angorfa and tick off our Christmas inhabitants as you spot them.

Arctic Fox - Ruby Gibbens
Ruby Gibbens is a Cardiff based puppet maker studying an MA at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Alongside her studies, she has worked with several different theatre companies nationally and internationally.

Polar Bear - Sandra Gustafsson
Sandra is a performance designer and maker originally from a cold patch of land called Finland. Her journey started as a prop maker in London, after which she ventured to Cardiff to undertake an MA in Design for Performance at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She is intrigued by transforming non-conventional performance spaces into sites of action and enjoys creating the unexpected. Further examples of her work can be found at www.sandra-gustafsson.com

Arctic Hare - Jade Hughes
Jade Hughes is a prop maker and sculptor working across South Wales and the South West. Since training at RWCMD she has worked for a range of workshops and studios across the region, as well as carrying out independent commissions through her website www.jadehughesmakes.com.
Specialising in sculpture and creature making, the upcycling brief of this project allowed Jade to experiment with more unconventional materials; opting to create the Arctic Hare with a core sculpt of newsprint and Sellotape, covered with a patchwork knitwear coat to add some festive fluff.

Puffins - Anna Kelsey
Anna is a theatre designer and maker working mainly in Wales and the South West. Anna specialises in set and costume design for performance but occasionally works as a puppet maker, prop maker and model maker.
