A one-woman-science-comedy-music-show.

Created and performed by Welsh actress and singer Carys Eleri (BAFTA Cymru nominee, National Theatre Wales, Charlotte Church's Late Night Pop Dungeon), Lovecraft is a brutally honest and witty show about the neuroscience of love and loneliness. Drawing from her own experiences, Carys combines smart and ludicrously funny songs (The Love Monger, Space and Time, Tit Montage) with heartfelt tales, taking you on a journey to discover how love works, why it makes us do crazy things and why hugging is the answer.

Lovecraft is her first written piece, combining her passion for music, theatre, comedy, science and human beings. Vivacious, hilarious, and talented, Carys brings her much-loved Welsh charm (and oxytocin) to Festival of Voice in this intelligent, beautifully, brutally honest and highly entertaining show.

Coproduced by Carys Eleri and Wales Millennium Centre

The world turns - and people and language move with it. We’re living in an age of mass migration. The linguists tell us we’re moving towards a future in which people speak multiple languages and create new ones to sit in the gaps.
