Legendary producer TRICKYis over three decades deep into his music career. But he's still fighting and he's prolifically making new music.
In the past two years, he’s dropped the enchanting 20,20 EP, put out his acclaimed autobiography, Hell Is Round The Corner and released his 14th studio album, Fall To Pieces on his own label False Idols.
Tricky’s music has always enlisted incredible female vocalists to carry his ideas. The majority of tracks on Fall To Pieces feature Marta Złakowska, a singer he discovered during a European tour when he was left without a vocalist on the opening night and who saved the tour from disaster.
Bringing a full live band to Festival of Voice, expect dark and dense lyrics, powerful vocals and electronic experimentation at its finest.
“Tricky makes, and has always made, nocturnal music, and a Tricky album is usually sonic melange of dusty dub, hazy jazz and suffocating electronics. Fall to Pieces is no different, and in many ways it represents the quintessential Tricky experience.”The Line of Best Fit
