The featured artists included Aleighcia Scott, Faith, Jaffrin, KingKhan and Reuel Elijah who are bringing new sounds and perspectives to Cardiff and shaping youth culture in Wales.
Jaffrin’s poem SKN was brought to life through a poetic visual directed by Liara Barussi. Filmed in the National Museum Wales, the film questions colonial narratives and how western standards of beauty have been ingrained into communities.
Jaffrin’s other poem FAITH was brought to life through a poetic visual directed by Liara Barussi. FAITH draws heavily on Jaffrin’s own experiences, exploring religion, rituals and the battles between ‘deen and ‘dunya’ (religion and real life).

Aleighcia has won various awards such as Radio Cardiff’s 'Best Local Artist' and is a two times winner of the MMG award for ‘Best Reggae Act’ with performances under her belt from Glastonbury, BBC Introducing stages, international stages and releases alongside the legendary Peckings Records.
FAITH is a talented 23 year old, singer/ songwriter from London, who now lives in Cardiff where she starred in the TV series, THE VOICE UK and coached on the show by Paloma Faith.
Since leaving the show FAITH has persued her singing career, releasing several tracks including Mind The Gap, Seychelles, Dear Chris, Lift ft Solo Jane and more. She's also featured on other artist's work including rapper's Tizzy and Rival and UK RnB soul-sensation, Etta Bond.
KingKhan is a Cardiff-based rapper and producer who has brought his own unique, fresh style take to the UK Rap scene. After self-releasing his debut album ‘Lovesongs and Melodrama’ in 2019, he made a name for himself in the South Wales music scene and getting slots at notable music festivals throughout Britain.
His unique style of production blends detailed instrumentals with melodic hooks and lyrics that span multiple genres, whilst still retaining his own influences at the heart of his music.
Reuel Elijah is a versatile Welsh rapper, singer and songwriter. Born in Cardiff, Reuel grew up in a musical home filled with Jazz, Reggae and Pentecostal church influences which inspired him to nurture his own creativity.
On stage from a young age, Reuel studied at performing arts school, nurtured his rapping and singing at EYK and danced with Jukebox Collective, staring in TV shows and touring internationally.
In 2016, Reuel was a part the BBC Horizons scheme, where he was chosen to tour the UK and perform live at legendary locations including the Maida Vale studios. He was also was the first person ever to have a track played on BBC 1xtra through the Horizons Scheme.
He has supported artists including Brandy, Eric Bellinger, Stormzy, Chaka Khan and Kid Ink and performed at major events including the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, The Great Escape Festival and Inside Out Festival.
In 2018 Reuel Released his debut album 'Alignment' which charted top 24 in the Hip Hop/Rap iTunes download charts.
