Join our choir; Sing Proud Cymru and become part of something special.

Sing Proud Cymru is a joint project between ourselves and Voices From Care Cymru and aims to give children, young people and families from the care-experienced community, the best opportunity to express themselves.

Our inter-generational choir brings together care-experienced young people and those who support them; including support workers, foster families and care leavers.

We're dedicated to ensuring everyone has a voice and a platform to express themselves.

When and where do we meet?

From 12 May 2019 the choir will rehearse every fortnight on a Sunday at Wales Millennium Centre. We meet in 'Caffi', in the main Glanfa foyer at 11am.

What does a typical session look like?

11am: meet up in Caffi.
11am - 11.30am: order food and drink for later (we pay for your food and drink).

11.30 - 1pm: rehearsal time.
1pm - 1.30pm: time to eat, drink and socialise.

How old do I have to be, to join?

The choir is open to anyone. If you are under 18 years of age, you must come along with a parent, carer or guardian.

Do we get to perform?

Yes, there are plenty of opportunities to perform and we make every effort to find as many opportunities as possible for you to sing.

Recent highlights include a performance here ahead of a Matilda matinee show, singing at the Voices From Care's: 'Proud to be Me' event, and singing at the youth arts festival, RawFfest.

So come and enjoy yourself, learn new skills and have fun singing with us.
