War Horse
15–25 October
The National Theatre’s acclaimed production is an unforgettable theatrical experience which takes audiences on an extraordinary journey from the fields of rural Devon to the trenches of First World War France.
Based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo, this powerfully moving and imaginative drama, filled with stirring music and songs, is a show of phenomenal inventiveness.
At its heart are astonishing life-sized horses by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, who bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to thrilling life on stage.
Top Hat
11–15 November
Based on the classic 1935 film which starred Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Effervescent, elegant and exhilarating, Top Hat is a heady romantic cocktail laced with sparklingly witty dialogue, stunning choreography, lavish sets and gorgeous costumes.
Irving Berlin’s irresistible score includes some of Hollywood’s greatest songs, the immortal Cheek to Cheek, Let’s Face the Music and Dance, Top Hat White Tie and Tails and Puttin’ on the Ritz.
Christmas Carol Goes Wrong
18–22 November
The Cornley Amateur Drama Society are back with tidings of chaos and joy, ready to tackle the Charles Dickens' classic.
As the Cornley crew hilariously battle miscommunication, delays to their set, actors missing in action and a growing feud over who will play the lead, it’s sure to be a disastrous take on the much-loved Christmas story of Ebeneezer Scrooge. Will Cornley finally change their ways, or will their misfortunes wreak havoc with hysterical consequences? Enjoy a festive slice of pure escapism at the worst production in Christmas past, present and yet to come!
To Kill a Mockingbird
25–29 November
Acclaimed stage and screen actor Richard Coyle stars in this iconic production of Harper Lee’s seminal novel as Atticus Finch, reprising the role he played to great critical acclaim in the 2022 West End production. In this thrilling courtroom drama, Atticus resolves to uncover the truth in a town that seems determined to hide it.
Set in 1934 Alabama, the novel was inspired by Harper Lee’s own childhood. It has sold more than 45 million copies worldwide and was long at the top of banned book lists.
Mary Poppins
3 December – 10 January
Bring the whole family to Cherry Tree Lane this Christmas to enjoy Cameron Mackintosh and Disney’s magical production. This practically perfect story of the world’s favourite nanny features dazzling choreography, incredible effects and unforgettable songs.

Cabaret
If you fancy something a little more adventurous, Cabaret is the place for you. From high-octane drag extravaganzas and laugh out loud comedy acts to sultry burlesque, live bands and avant-garde gig theatre, our stage is where surprise meets spectacle.
Our autumn programme includes Stephen Bailey with his brand-new live show Tart; and I Screamed a Scream, a concert featuring songs from the best baddies of stage and screen.
Immersive Experiences
Ceci Est Mon Coeur is an immersive work exploring an extraordinary love story – that of a child’s reconciliation with his body. The audience, wrapped in a connected garment and embellished with luminous embroidery, is swept up in a poetic experience that is both aural and visual.
And in our Wolfson Studio, come on an epic virtual reality adventure into the euphoria of an Acid House rave with the return of In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats. This immersive experience transports audiences on an electrifying journey back to 1989, where you and your friends must track down an illegal party hidden on the outskirts of Coventry.
Step inside a pulsating music documentary, rich with nostalgia and thumping bass, as the stories of promoters, police officers, and rave-goers come to life, revealing the rivalries and relationships that fuelled a cultural revolution.
For the first time, this internationally acclaimed, award-winning VR adventure will be presented as a shared experience for groups of up to four people, taking you and your friends back in time to the creation of UK rave culture.
