Throughout the autumn our Performances for the Curious season returns with more Welsh language performances than ever before.
By now, the season has grown to be one of the highlights of the year, and the fact that there are five Welsh language performances being staged this year is amazing.
We’re extremely lucky to showcase successful Welsh artists here and are proud to present high standards of Welsh productions in our more intimate spaces.
As a young person, I love coming here to see all types of shows and the Welsh language is also very important to me. I’m glad that there's an opportunity to come to such a well-known theatre to see contemporary Welsh language productions being performed.

A FEAST FOR THE SENSES
This spectacular combination of circus, movement and music and tells the twisting story of the enchantress Drudwen, and the twins she finds in the forest who are not all that they appear to be.
Drudwen is a dark modern fairy tale, a magical story of transformation, choice and consequence with beautiful aerial activity, physical comedy and captivating live music.

CARYS ELERI IS BACK!
Head to Ffresh for a spectacular night and a cwtch with Carys Eleri, who will be performing not only her English production of Lovecraft (Not the Sex Shop in Cardiff), but her brand-new Welsh language adaptation, Cer i Grafu... Sori... Garu!
By drawing on her own personal experiences, Carys combines original, amusing songs and heart-wrenching stories on a journey to uncover the roots of love.
Why does love make us do crazy things, and why is a cwtch so important?
Come together to discover the neuroscience of love and loneliness in a modern, funny way through the Welsh language with the one and only Carys Eleri. This is a show that’s definitely worth a watch.
