Christmas Cabaret is coming… and we are looking for performers.

Wales Millennium Centre is casting for its Christmas Cabaret production, a brand-new show set in a very familiar seaside town, where the locals are larger than life, the stories are legendary… and if you know, you know.

The production calls for bold characters, sharp comedy, and unforgettable moments, with a touch of seaside glamour, delivered through a fast-paced cabaret blending burlesque, drag, lip sync, comedy and character-led performance.

We are looking for single or multi-role performers, multi-role experience not essential but desirable.

Please note: this opportunity is open to performers based in Cardiff and South Wales only.

We are particularly interested in performers with:

• Burlesque or drag experience
• Strong character performance skills
• Excellent comedy timing
• Lip sync performance ability
• Movement or dance skills
• Cabaret stage experience

We welcome performers of all backgrounds and identities.

Roles

We are casting a small ensemble of six performers who will play multiple roles, inspired by a world of unforgettable personalities, seaside mischief and nights out people still talk about.

We are open to both single-role and multi-role performers. Multi-role experience is desirable, but not essential.

Rehearsals and Performances at Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff

• Rehearsals: 23 November – 5 December 2026 (Cardiff)
• Tech Week: 7 – 12 December 2026 (Cardiff)
• Performances: 9 December 2026 – 2 January 2027 (Weston Studio) 13 performances

Fees

Fees will be in line with UK Theatre and Wales Millennium Centre performer rates.
