The Annwn Prize is the first global award that celebrates excellence in immersive storytelling. Four worlds, one venue.
Colored (Noire) - The Unsung Life of Claudette Colvin tells the story of a forgotten voice that played a key part in igniting the civil rights movement. Audiences are invited to meet the past and be immersed in the biographical tale that is yet to be shared.
Be a part of the narrative with Consensus Gentium, and drive a story that explores data privacy, unconscious biases and the power of technology. This production integrates cutting edge facial detection technology and AI to bring your story to life.
Constantinopoliad is inspired by the blank and torn out pages of an epic written by Constantine Cavafy while he and his family fled Alexandria. The show uses touch, imagery and sound to explore the imagination of a young Cavafy as he explores his creative potential and sexuality.
Finally, become the centre of a shifting constellation as part of NOWISWHENWEARE (The Stars). This interactive installation guides you through a contemplative and deeply personal encounter with time, memory and presence, with 4,000 reactive LED lights and a 496-channel soundscape.
Late Night Laughs
This June, Cabaret and Little Wander present GAGGED, a boisterous night showcasing the best comedians from UK’s Queer stand-up circuit. Hosted by the fabulously witty Lee Peart, the Cabaret stage welcomes the self-proclaimed “prince of puppets”, Lachlan Werner; the dry, deadpan and disarmingly honest, Grace Jarvis; and the gloriously funny, Sam Lake. Come out, grab a drink, and get GAGGED with laughter!
Quartey & Blayney bring a whirlwind of characters and sketches to our Cabaret stage, blending sharp writing with brilliantly observed comedy. Fresh from their success at the BBC New Comedy Awards 2025 and on BBC’s Amandaland, this delightful duo delivers fast-paced, quick-witted performances packed with unforgettable personalities.
Glamour Takes Centre Stage
Cabaret will host a rich, atmospheric and glamourous evening with Big Band Burlesque. A beautiful three-piece band provide a vibrant and expressive soundtrack that lifts each performance in a captivating fusion of music, glamour and personality.
Beatrix Valhalla leads the line-up, sprinkled with special guests including award-winning cabaret starlet Belle de Beauvoir to provide a jam-packed night of charm, allure, and glamour that lingers long after the final note.
Glenda & Rita are two actresses from the Golden Era of cinema, immortalized in black and white and struggling to find work and adapt to the brutal, unforgiving technicolour world.
