Did you know that you don't need a ticket to a show to come into Wales Millennium Centre? We're open daily to the public from 9am (10am on Sundays). Just pop down and visit us in the heart of Cardiff Bay – everyone's welcome, croeso i bawb.
Spectacular Shows
Escape to a whole new world with Disney's Aladdin, here in our Donald Gordon Theatre until 14 January. With astonishing special effects, over 350 lavish costumes and a fabulous cast and live orchestra, Aladdin features all the songs from the classic Academy Award-winning film including Friend Like Me, Arabian Nights, and A Whole New World.
Plus, from 6.30pm on Friday 15 and 22 December and 5 January, a magician will be in our ground floor café-bar, Ffwrnais, to entertain and delight you before the show!
If you're looking for something more alternative, try our festive adult cabaret show, The First XXXmas: A Very Naughty-tivity. Hosted by Cardiff icon, Polly Amorous, this 5-star extravaganza features sensational circus, bountiful burlesque, and jaw-dropping drag. Strictly 18+.
Free family fun
We're showing a trilogy of beautiful short winter films by Efa Blosse-Mason and Casi Wyn in partnership with the Wales Broadcast Archive. There's no need to book – just head into Bocs which is located on the ground floor and get comfy and cosy. The films are shown daily on a loop and are suitable for all ages.
Nature and art lovers can explore our Nyth/Nest installation and art trail which takes you all around our iconic building. With a magical sculptural nest, woodland soundscape, warm textile prints and tactile willow forms, artists Catrin Doyle and Helen Malia are bringing all the beauty of Welsh woodlands indoors.
Plus we have a range of children's toys and books in Lolfa, our community lounge based on the ground floor, which are there for everyone to enjoy. We love hearing your glockenspiel creations!
Delicious treats in Ffwrnais
Indulge in some festive treats in Ffwrnais, our ground floor café-bar. We're serving seasonal speciality coffees, hot chocolates, mulled wine, mince pies and stollen, plus our usual range of pastries from Pettigrew Bakeries and locally roasted coffee from Quantum.
With free WiFi, relaxing tunes and comfy custom-made cushions by local hand weaver Llio James, you'll want to stay all day (which you're very welcome to do).
