FFRIND

Individual = £45 or £42 (Annual) by Direct Debit

Joint = £60 or £57 (Annual) by Direct Debit

  • Access to great seats during the priority booking period
    During priority booking periods, individual members can purchase four tickets per show and joint members can purchase eight per show. Donald Gordon Theatre performances only.
  • £10 off the price of opening night tickets for many big shows, plus many more offers throughout the year.
    Available on selected seats/in selected areas where possible, except one-night performances, unless otherwise stated. Subject to availability. Individual members can purchase two tickets and joint members can purchase four tickets at the offer price. Excluding WNO.
  • 20% off drinks in Caffi and our upstairs theatre bars. This discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
  • Regular email updates regarding upcoming shows, events and offers.

FFRIND+

Individual = £150 or £138 (Annual) by Direct Debit

Joint = £250 or £228 (Annual) by Direct Debit

Inclusive of all benefits available to Ffrind members plus:

  • Invited to attend the annual exclusive Ffrind+ event.
    The annual Ffrind+ event accessible to Ffrind+ members only and is usually based around our touring or in-house productions, but can also be around an exhibition, fundraising campaign or general Centre celebration. Members are welcome to bring guests along to the event; one guest for individual members and two for joint members. Further guests are usually welcomed for a suggested donation which will be communicated prior to the event
  • Access to our private Taittinger members’ lounge, and 20% off drinks
  • Members must book spaces in the private members' bar prior to their visit.
  • Unless specified otherwise, the private members' bar is open for members enjoyment up to one hour prior to the show starting and for the entirety of the interval.
  • Members are permitted to bring up to three guests with an individual membership and four guests with a joint membership, including themselves.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FFRIND AND FFRIND+

By joining the Wales Millennium Centre's Membership scheme, you agree to abide by the Membership Terms and Conditions as set out below.

You are also giving permission for Wales Millennium Centre to contact you by phone, mail and email with information about upcoming shows and events.

If at any time you wish to opt out of receiving such information, please update your account settings at www.wmc.org.uk in to the 'My Account' section.

1 MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY AND BENEFITS

1.1 GENERAL

1.1.1 Wales Millennium Centre reserves the right to alter or vary the advertised price of a Ffrind or Ffrind+ membership.
1.1.2 Membership and all benefits are non-transferrable.
1.1.3 Members enter in to a 12-month contract.
1.1.4 Membership can be cancelled within a 14-day period from sign-up, but only if no benefits have been accessed.
1.1.5 Joint membership is for two adults living at the same address. Both members will receive a digital membership card, can purchase tickets during priority booking and gain access to ticket offers and discounts.
1.1.6 On-sale emails will only be sent to current members, including those due for renew. When purchasing a joint membership both members have the option to receive these communications.
1.1.7 Wales Millennium Centre reserves the right to withdraw benefits at any time and without prior notice.
1.1.8 Wales Millennium Centre reserves the right to make alterations to our membership schemes without prior notice.
1.1.9 Wales Millennium Centre’s general terms and conditions of sale apply.

1.2 ELIGIBILITY

1.2.1 You must be aged 18 or over in order to apply for membership or renewal.
1.2.2 Applicants and gift recipients of joint memberships must be two adults living at the same address and will receive one communication per household, unless both have opted to receive communication.
1.2.3 Wales Millennium Centre reserves the right to reject an application for membership or to terminate a membership at any time due to the reason of misconduct or unacceptable behaviour while on the Wales Millennium Centre’s premises or at an event in conjunction with Wales Millennium Centre. Legal action may also be taken.
1.2.4 Wales Millennium Centre reserves the right to reject an application for membership or to terminate a membership at any time due to any acts of misconduct or unacceptable behaviour that brings Wales Millennium Centre’s reputation into disrepute, including online. Legal action may also be taken.
1.2.5 In the event that Wales Millennium Centre terminates a membership in accordance with clause 1.2.3 or 1.2.4, no refund will be given to that member for the cost of their membership for any remaining period of membership.

1.3 FFRIND MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

1.3.1 Priority booking will be available where possible. Where not available, exclusive seats will be available for members to book for a limited time.
1.3.2 During the priority booking period individual members can book a maximum of four tickets and joint members can book a maximum of eight tickets per performance. If a ticket offer applies, individuals can book two tickets and joint members four tickets at the offer price, in this period. Donald Gordon Theatre performances only.
1.3.3 Members will receive show announcements, updates and on sale information by email wherever possible.

1.4 FFRIND+ MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

Inclusive of all terms and conditions of Ffrind members plus:
1.4.1 Ffrind + members will be notified about their annual event as soon as dates and details are confirmed. Events are usually based around our touring or in-house productions, but can also be around an exhibition, fundraising campaign or general Centre celebration.

COPR – MEMBERS' BAR AND LOUNGE

1.4.4 Ffrind+ members must book spaces in our private members' bar and lounge at least 48 hours before their visit, enabling us to manage numbers and staffing.
1.4.5 If Ffrind+ members wish to use the private members' bar, and lounge spaces should be booked when purchasing tickets. If you need to let us know that you wish to use the private members' bar and lounge at a later date you must email ffrind@wmc.org.uk
1.4.6 Unless specified otherwise, the private members' bar and lounge is open one hour prior to the show starting and for the entirety of the interval.
1.4.7 Members are permitted to bring up to three guests with an individual membership and four guests with a joint membership, including themselves.
1.4.8 Guests must always be accompanied by a Ffrind+ member.
1.4.9 Guests must also be booked in to use the private members' bar and lounge at least 24 hours before their visit and can only be added by a Ffrind+ member.
1.4.10 We reserve the right to revoke access to the private members' bar and lounge at any time.
1.4.11 If there are fewer than six people using the private members' bar and lounge, then Wales Millennium Centre reserves the right to close the lounge or ask you to make a pre-order and the lounge may be unstaffed.
1.4.12 There is a maximum capacity for the private members' bar and lounge, access is given on a first come first serve basis. Once the private members' bar and lounge has reached capacity additional members will no longer be able to access the lounge.
1.4.13 The private members' bar and lounge is only available for performances in the Donald Gordon Theatre and is not available for performances in our Weston Studio, Cabaret and other performance spaces or public spaces, unless otherwise agreed.

1.4.14 Wales Millennium Centre is committed to offering a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for all – our members, supporters, visitors and staff – and will take action if anyone experiences offensive comments or intimidating behaviour of any kind on our site.

1.5 GENERAL BENEFITS CLAUSES

1.5.1 All member benefits are for a duration of one year (unless specified otherwise).
1.5.2 Please note you can update your details and preferences at any time by going to your online membership account or by contacting us.
1.5.3 Your named membership is non-transferable.
1.5.4 Members offers are available on the top two ticket prices where possible, except one-night performances, unless otherwise stated.
1.5.5 Member offers cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts and concessions or be applied to tickets already purchased.
1.5.6 Tickets, discounts and other special offers are all subject to availability.
1.5.7 Ticket discounts cannot be claimed when booking tickets via other ticket agencies.
1.5.8 During the priority booking period individual members can book a maximum of four tickets and joint members can book a maximum of eight tickets per performance. This maximum is inclusive of any ticket offers. If a ticket offer applies, individuals can book two tickets and joint members four tickets at the offer price, in this period. Donald Gordon Theatre performances only.
1.5.9 Further tickets may be purchased during the public on sale period, subject to normal ticket restrictions.
1.5.10 Priority booking period is usually a minimum of 24 hours but if this is not possible an extra allocation of tickets will be held for members for a limited period.
1.5.11 Lounge discounts can only be applied to the named card holder(s).
1.5.12 Members are entitled to 20% off in all our lounges and cafes. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers (such as: 3 for 2 and buy one get one free).
1.5.13 Discounts cannot be claimed against licensed show merchandise such as t-shirts and CDs.

SIGNING UP AND RENEWALS

1.6 How to sign up.
1.6.1 Applications for new memberships can be made online at www.wmc.org.uk/en/join-and-give/membership 
1.6.2 Ffrind and Ffrind+ membership renewals can be made online by signing into your online members account.

1.7 PAYMENT

1.7.1 Payment can be made by direct debit, credit or debit card.
1.7.2 When paying by direct debit your membership starts from the date of sign-up. Payments are taken on 1st of the following month if sign-up is before midnight on the 9th of the month.

For sign-ups after the 10th of the month, payment will be taken the month after next. In future years, if you choose to renew, we will collect your membership payment the month before your membership is due. You will be contacted via email prior to any payments being taken. Example payment cycles:

1.7.3 Please note that charity vouchers and other payment methods will not be accepted for membership subscriptions in compliance with HMRC guidelines.

1.8 CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

1.8.1 Membership of Wales Millennium Centre is a form of charitable giving. Once a membership has been paid in full and a card issued, no refunds can be made.
1.8.2 This is a year-long membership with an obligation to complete the payment schedule.
1.8.3 For those paying by Direct Debit, cancellations can be made part way through the membership and payment will stop thereafter.
1.8.4 Membership benefits are valid whilst your membership is active and deactivate when a membership is cancelled or expires.

1.9 MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT OFFERS AND COMPLIMENTARY GIFTS

1.9.1 From time to time Wales Millennium Centre may run special offers to promote membership. No bulk or third-party entries are permitted and offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions.

1.10 GDPR

1.10.1 Members' names and contact details will be stored on a database so that we can send you information and offers relating to Wales Millennium Centre which may include additional fundraising activities.
1.10.2 Wales Millennium Centre shall store and process your personal data in accordance with any applicable Data Protection legislation.
1.10.3 Members have the right to elect whether or not to receive further information regarding performances at, or activities organised by, Wales Millennium Centre. If you should change your mind at any time during your membership, please notify us.

1.11 GIFT AID

1.11.1 Membership comprises a benefits portion and a donation portion.
1.11.2 Any donation given above the agreed value of benefits will be eligible for Gift Aid, we will ask you if you are eligible for gift aid at point of sign up, please let us know if you would like to gift aid your donation at this point, or afterwards if your circumstances change.

1.12 DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP CARD

1.12.1. Members claim their on-site benefits by showing their digital membership card or personal QR code (both found by logging on to ‘My Account’)
1.12.2. Digital membership cards are valid until the date of membership expiry as shown in ‘My Account’
1.12.3. Membership cards and associated details are not transferable and can only be used by the named cardholder(s) to book tickets or receive discount

2. VARIATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions were last updated on 16 January 2024. Wales Millennium Centre reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions from time to time. Such variations shall become effective immediately upon the posting on Wales Millennium Centre’s website

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before submitting an application for membership, renewal or buying a membership as a gift.

You should understand that by submitting the application online, by telephone or by post, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and our privacy notice.

These terms and conditions of membership should also be read in conjunction with the terms and conditions of sale.

Please note: if you are making use of a membership bought for you by someone else, then by your action you agree and accept that these terms and conditions apply between us.
