Gift Certificates and *Credit Vouchers can be redeemed against any tickets, memberships or merchandise purchased online or through our ticket office. You can also use them to pay for food and drink at our upstairs theatre bars or at Caffi.

Our Gift Certificates and Credit Vouchers can be used to purchase tickets, memberships or merchandise via the website by typing in their unique number printed on them at checkout.

To use a Gift Certificate online, at the payment stage click the Have a Gift Certificate? button and enter the redemption code from your Gift Certificate.

To redeem a Gift Certificate in-person at the bars, simply present the QR code in the top right of the certificate.

If you’ve lost your Gift Certificate, the original purchaser can always recover both the numeric redemption code and the QR code from the My Account area of the website.

Gift Certificates are only valid for a period of 18 months from the date they are generated. After this time any Gift Certificate that has not been used will become invalid.

*Credit Vouchers are generated as a refund option in the case of show cancellations or ticket-price variants for exchanged tickets. They can also be used/redeemed in the same way as gift certificates and are valid for 18 months

Welsh National Opera’s Credit Vouchers should only be redeemed against WNO shows and auxiliary products.

The balance of a Gift Certificate can be checked online along with the details of any credit vouchers that have been issued as part of a refund or exchange in the Gift Certificates and Credit Vouchers section of the My Account area.

Other terms and conditions

• Wales Millennium Centre cannot be held liable for Gift Certificates or Credit Vouchers which are lost, stolen, damaged or defaced.
• Gift Certificates or Credit Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Gift Certificates or Credit Vouchers are non-refundable.
• No change will be given but any remaining balance may be applied to future purchases.
• Upon expiry of the Gift Certificate or Credit Voucher, any remaining balance shall be deducted.
• Gift Certificates or Credit Vouchers  do not guarantee availability of tickets.
• Wales Millennium Centre reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so (e.g. to change the scope of the Gift Certificate service, to notify of the service's withdrawal or in the event of circumstances beyond its control). Reasonable notice of such changes will be given where possible.
• By purchasing and/or redeeming a Gift Certificate or Credit Voucher, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions.
