12 bangers for 2020

2020 just keeps getting better. It's hard to believe all these great shows are coming up in the same year and there are more to come. Here's 12 bangers to get you booking.

1. The King and I

January 8 - 18 2020

Start the new year with a bang with the Lincoln Center Theater’s critically acclaimed production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King And I, direct from its record-breaking sold-out season at The London Palladium.

2. The Beauty Parade

March 5 - 14 2020

It’s the Second World War and three ordinary women are plucked from obscurity and parachuted in behind enemy lines to become saboteurs and silent killers. Kaite O'Reilly's unique collaboration between Deaf and hearing artists is captioned throughout and features live music, evocative songs and visual language.

3. Cabaret

24 - 28 March 2020

It's 1931, Berlin is a haven of divine decadence and the legendary Sally Bowles is about to take to the stage at the infamous Kit Kat Klub. Directed by Rufus Norris and fresh from two smash-hit West End runs, the Tony award-winning Cabaret features show-stopping choreography, dazzling costumes and plenty of  iconic singalong show tunes.

4. The Red Shoes

31 March - 4 April 2020

Matthew Bourne’s triumphant adaptation of the legendary film returns, having won two Olivier Awards and dazzled audiences and critics across the UK and the USA. Set to the achingly romantic music of Golden Age Hollywood, The Red Shoes is a tale of obsession, possession and one girl’s dream to be the greatest dancer in the world.

5. Million Dollar Quartet

21 - 25 April 2020

A mixture of rock n roll lookalike icons including Elvis, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis

Following its success in the West End, Las Vegas, on Broadway and around the UK, Million Dollar Quartet arrives in Cardiff. This smash-hit musical is inspired by the famous recording session that brought together Rock 'n' Roll icons: Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time. So get set to relive music history in one magical night.

6. A Monster Calls

28 April - 2 May 2020
