CATE LE BON CURATES

We're excited to announce that Welsh musician and producer Cate Le Bon joins Festival of Voice as a guest curator in 2020.

Following the success of Reward, her Mercury-nominated fifth studio album, the Welsh artist brings her own inimitable voice and others to Wales Millennium Centre.

“I’m truly honoured to curate a small pocket of this extraordinary festival that evolves every year and encourages its curators to cast a wide net and bring the voices that mean something to the city of Cardiff."

Cate Le Bon stood outside in a red coat next next to a grey, derelict tower.

As well as performing for us, Cate will also be curating part of the FOV programme featuring some of her favourite international artists and inspirations, so you can expect the unexpected.

"It’s a beautiful thing to champion the voices that bring joy, guide, inspire, challenge, soothe and unite us whilst political division and disconnect is being peddled."

Described as 'one of the best making music out there' by Jeff Tweedy of Wilco fame, Cate's unorthodox approach to creating music makes her sound incredibly distinctive - from surrealist song craft to audacious avant pop, so don’t miss out. Book your Early Bird passes today.
