Seven screamers for Halloween

We've got plenty of ghastly goings-on this October; from spooky craft days to cutting-edge comedy and bloody Burlesque for the ultimate Christmas party nights out. We dare you to book...

1. Get crafty with a ghost

19 October 2019, 11am - 4pm

We love making things and being creative and this year is no different. Join us for a free, family craft day when we'll be showing you how to make hand-made ghosts our of everyday, household items.

2. Trick or treat yourself to spider hats

26 October 2019, 11am - 4pm

October is a great month for spiders so we're making some scary spider hats for Halloween. It's free, family fun and the kids will look great for trick or treating.

3. Spooktacular Supper Clwbs

31 October - 2 November 2019, 7.30pm - 10.30pm

To celebrate the witching hour we've lined up three specials including Burlesque on 31 October with Lady Lolly Rouge, GiGi Sextone, Killer Clown and Sweet Transvestite.

November 1 features a ghoulish night of musical theatre with Vikki BebbJonathan Radford and Steffan Rhys Hughes while November 2 sees the  ghostest with the mostest Connie Orff take the helm for a night of deathly Drag.

4. Scratching at the door

Something is scratching at your door...do you open it? Of course you do! It's our sensational Scratch Nights where you'll get to see some incredible emerging talent for next-to-nothing. Take a chance on something new and open your eyes to a world of curious, contemporary theatre.

5. Cutting-edge comedy

In a brand-new show, stand-up comedian and theatre maker Amy Vreeke takes a frank and funny look at endometriosis; a life-altering disease that affects one in ten women in the UK.

6. Turning invisible

17 - 19 October 2019

A few years ago, Mari realised she'd disappeared. The Invisible Woman is a one-woman dark comedy about aging ungracefully and searching for significance, written by Ailsa Jenkins and inspired by her own disappearance.

This Christmas fill your stockings with glitz, ghouls and glamour courtesy of Foo Foo Labelle and Cardiff Cabaret Club.
