Voices of Change is our community-led project multimedia arts exhibition encapsulating the lives, hopes and dreams of our audiences and communities at a unique moment in history.
Sharing our building with audiences, communities and artists is what makes it such a magical place and somewhere to fire everyone's imaginations.
During the first lockdown in May 2020, in a time of disconnection, we asked our audiences to connect through creation, to look to the future and to free their minds and imagine what life, the arts and the world could be like in the future.
Our audiences responded with a wealth of materials - from music to knitting, dance, spoken word, film, photography and so much more - which we aim to put on show across our building, with a community artist-led piece at its centre, taking the form of a giant crochet tree.
We hope to display the exhibition from summer 2021 onwards and envisage it will be for small, guided groups being led through our building, potentially over three floors and encompassing a variety of spaces.
