Supporting disabled-led arts in Wales: panel discussion and networking event

How might the sector better support work by disabled artists? What change has happened in recent years, and what’s next? As the Unlimited funding programme is open for another funding round for new projects by artists and companies creating disability-led work, it is a key time to gather and assess these questions. Join us for a panel discussion chaired by Unlimited Senior Producer Jo Verrent, bringing together playwright Kaite O’Reilly, artist curator Aidan Moesby and Wales Millennium Centre Assistant Producer Jenny Sturt.

One to one advice surgery sessions for artists interested in applying to Unlimited will be available in 20 minute slots 12pm-2pm and 4pm-6pm. Book ahead of time by emailing jenny.sturt@wmc.org.uk. Let us know if you have any access needs we should know about.

Supported by Unlimited, celebrating the work of disabled artists, with funding from Arts Council Wales. Delivered in partnership with Wales Millennium Centre and Disability Arts Cymru.

Wales Millennium Centre is wheelchair accessible and BSL and speech to text will be provided for the panel discussion. A separate quiet space will be available. If you have any queries about access please contact jenny.sturt@wmc.org.uk.
