Dirty Protest Presents: My mix (ed up) tape

15 May 2019

Weston Studio

Fancy getting dirty on a Wednesday night? Come and join the Dirty Protest gang as we celebrate and scratch Wales' most exciting writing talent. Grab your beer, sit back and let us entertain you.

Pontypridd...Kit has come home to celebrate the wedding of an old friend. She never really quite fitted in with Ponty; she was angry, she was lost, she didn't belong.

Now, dancing to the wedding soundtrack, Kit transports herself back to a simpler time to reclaim her past and own her future.

With a live DJ set and raw physical theatre, Katie Elizabeth Payne with Dirty Protest present a new play in development about female anger, mis-diagnosed ADHD, and finding out who you really are.

Since 2007, Dirty Protest has been the company to follow to see the next big stars in writing and acting. Breaking down theatre barriers by performing in yurts, kebab shops, pubs and clubs, they kick-started a new writing theatre revolution in Wales.

They have worked with more than 200 writers since then and staged the best in Welsh new writing across the UK and internationally.

“There are few people in Wales making theatre this exciting in Wales today”
