BBC National Orchestra of Wales

Easter Oratorio

18 April 2019

BBC Hoddinott Hall

BBC NOW is joined by two conductors: Jonathon Heyward conducts Rimsky-Korsakov’s Easter Festival Overture, Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs and Grainger’s Blithe Bells, whilst J.S Bach’s Easter Oratorio is conducted by Jonathan Cohen with the BBC National Chorus of Wales.

Update: We’re sorry to announce Jonathan Cohen is unable to conduct this concert due to illness. We’re thrilled Steven Devine will stand in to conduct the second half of the concert, Bach’s Easter Oratorio. Please note the programme remains unchanged; Jonathon Heyward will conduct the first half with music by Rimsky-Korsakov, Vaughan Williams and Percy Grainger.
