The current estimate on the number of victims of modern slavery in the UK is around 13,000 and on a global scale this exceeds 40 million. This talk will cover slavery on our doorstep, stories from a survivor of human trafficking who is now an award winning poet (Eric Ngalle Charles), and information on work being done to support victims locally and on a global scale.
