Freedom - The Voice of a Child

19 June 2019

Pierhead building

A talk chaired by Sally Holland, Children’s Commissioner for Wales.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child (UNCRC) is the most widely ratified human rights treaty in the world and as a company that works so extensively with children, WNO is pleased to support and facilitate this discussion.

To mark the Convention’s 30th anniversary and the first sitting of Wales’ new Youth Parliament, we explore the role that young people play in democracy, and what steps are being taken in Wales to ensure that the views of young people are listened to, in accordance with Article 12.

Supporting Partners: Children’s Commissioner for Wales, National Assembly for Wales and Unicef.
