About Mari Elin Jones
Mari Elin was born and raised in Blaencaron and has by now settled near Aberystwyth where she works as an exhibition curator in The National Library of Wales. Outside of the office, she is an artist who works with all sorts of media, including linocut and clay, and creates her own natural inks from plant material, and loves to create all sorts of zines. Back in 2018 she began to realise what a negative effect plastic was having on our environment, and vowed to live a less wasteful life. She documented her low waste journey in the Welsh language blog Gwyrddach (Greener), which is about to be turned into a book full of ideas and recipes on how to cut down on plastic and waste in the home and in day to day life. |
