Have you ever wondered how your own stories and experiences can become part of the theatre-making process?
Would you like to unleash your creative voice in the development of a brand-new piece of online theatre?
Join Mess Up The Mess Theatre Company in a series of workshops that puts you at the heart of the creative process.
Using a multi-disciplinary approach, digital artist Anja Conti and playwright Hefin Robinson will lead you in the creation of a piece of theatre that combines storytelling and scriptwriting, home-made animation, and fantasy table top role-playing games.
Following the four introductory sessions, you will have the opportunity to join our Writers’ Room and Animation Studio workshops to further develop the piece ready for an online performance this summer.
Who is it for?
Our courses are available to anyone aged 11-21 from all backgrounds across Wales and are entry level – aimed at the curious, beginners, or for those looking to refresh their skills.
When is it?
The initial introductory sessions run every Thursday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm via Zoom over four weeks, starting on Thursday, 29 April.
This project is run by Mess Up The Mess Theatre Company in partnership with the Wales Millennium Centre and Pontardawe Arts Centre.
