Interested in a career in Costume? Join us for a free six-week introduction to Costume Design.
During the course, you will learn a variety of creative techniques for designing costumes for stage and screen, and at the end of the course you will have created your own imaginative designs around characters and styles that are unique to you.
The course will look at some of the skills needed to be a costume designer and guide you through creative processes such as character breakdown, 3D development of ideas in paper, costume illustration and exploring different materials. This course also looks at possible career paths and further training in the costume department, or if costume design is something that’s completely new to you it is also an opportunity to come along and have a go!
