Halloween Spooktacular

Halloween Spooktacular

30 October 2025

BBC Hoddinott Hall

This October, join the BBC National Orchestra of Wales for the much-anticipated return of the Halloween Spooktacular – an unforgettable concert filled with music, mystery, and magical mayhem!

Presented by Owain Wyn Evans and conducted by Ellie Slorach, this concert offers spooky musical fun for the whole family. Featuring a selection of iconic and atmospheric music, this is a celebration of all things eerie, enchanting, and entertaining.

Prepare to be thrilled by a spine-tingling selection of music, including Hedwig’s Theme from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, the haunting Shark Theme from Jaws, the soaring Flying Theme from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and the iconic Doctor Who Theme.

Whether you're a fan of cinematic scores, a family looking for a fun seasonal event, or simply someone who loves Halloween, this concert promises thrilling orchestral music, dramatic moments, and a few playful surprises along the way.

Audiences are encouraged to come in costume – the more creative, the better. From witches and wizards to monsters and superheroes, dressing up adds to the festive atmosphere and is all part of the fun!

These concerts are back by popular demand and are known to sell out quickly. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
