For six weeks, Platfform hosted evening sessions with 10 emerging poets and 11 emerging photographers, supporting them as they honed their craft, and explored the theme of Journeys.

Spoken Word artists were led by Tia-zakura Camilleri, exploring the poetic form, and how to use words and beats to tell their stories through ‘flowetry’. Meanwhile our photographers were upskilled in photographic techniques and expression by Peter Britton, and creatively directed by Joe Andrews as they navigated responding to a unique creative brief; our poets’ own journeys.  

The result is a collaborative exhibition of ten powerful photography and text pieces that platform this new community of creatives and celebrate the power of storytelling across artforms.
