Join The Ida network for our meet-up in Cardiff, hosted by Ida Hwb at the Wales Millennium Centre, bringing together women, non-binary, and trans people who are working in- or aspiring to work in – immersive technologies.
This event will focus on the emotional and mental challenges that often accompany new beginnings such as career changes or entering new industries. Alongside talks from our guest speakers, we’ll explore some of the challenges that arise with new beginnings. Themes will include:
- Self-sabotage: reframing your mindset and seeking support.
- Imposter syndrome: celebrating your progress and noting your achievements.
- Fear of being your authentic self: challenging your assumptions and reflecting on your values.
Whether you’re new to immersive technologies or an experienced professional, this is a chance to build confidence, share knowledge, and connect with a supportive and inclusive community.
