VR Cinema: Evening Programme

Just for You Trilogy

Directed by Craig Quintero

30 September - 11 October 2026

Welcome to Wales Millennium Centre's first VR Cinema (evening programme) - an exciting opportunity for audiences to experience Craig Quintero's extraordinary Just for You Trilogy, 3 virtual reality shortfilms played back to back.

We are comforted by facts, by the familiarity of things we know to be “true.” The sun rises in the east. There are twenty-four hours in a day. I exist. These truisms simplify our lives, enable us to get through the process of living. We are not afraid to leap into the air, because we know we will land on the ground. The Just for You Trilogy explores the possibilities that exist beyond these everyday patterns, that blur the lines between dream and reality.

Combining Riverbed’s three award-winning 360VR films (All That Remains, Over the Rainbow, and A Simple Silence) into a single experience, the Just for You Trilogy immerses the audience in a surreal meditation on memory, death, and desire.

Presented as part of our VR Cinema programming, this trilogy by Craig Quintero also marks the return of a creator we previously spotlighted during PHI’s Taiwan showcase in 2022.

In "Just for You," Craig Quintero masterfully brings his theatrical expertise into the immersive medium. The audience can feel the precision of stagecraft in every frame, the emotional depth of the characters, and an unsettling closeness with the protagonists. This trilogy creates a rare and powerful connection between viewer and subject—between what is seen and what is felt.

All That Remains (2022)

Despite all of our knowing, we will never be known. All That Remains is a meditation on the fluid boundary between dream and reality, fear and desire. It is an invitation to see and be seen.

Over the Rainbow (2023)

Forgoing a linear narrative, Over the Rainbow immerses the audience in a surreal landscape. The experience, like life, does not have a singular plot or meaning. Something happens, and then something else happens. Instead of providing a clear-cut moral message, Over the Rainbow encourages the audience to engage the sensations of the moment and embrace the uncertainty of the unknown.

A Simple Silence (2024)

A Simple Silence is the final chapter in Riverbed Theatre’s award-winning Just For You Trilogy . This 360VR experience continues the series’ exploration of our connectedness to the world around us, imbuing the environment with an animistic quality while also blurring the boundary between seeing and being seen. The audience is not a witness to the experience; they are the experience.
