Are you a Theatre or Cabaret Artist looking to connect with Wales Millennium Centre?

Open Office is your opportunity to chat with us! We are mixing things up a little this year and giving you access to our Productions Producers and Cabaret Producer.

Productions

Victoria John - Senior Producer for Productions and Lauren Hughes - Assistant Producer for Productions

This is a chance for you to come and meet V and Lauren, chat about an idea, get advice or find out more about our Artist Development programme and creative opportunities.

This will be an informal chat over coffee in a relaxed environment. V and Lauren are keen to meet as many Theatre Artists as possible, to find out more about you and your practice, so come along!

Sessions with V and Lauren are: 28th August, 30th October and 27th November 2026 at 10am, 11.30am, 1.30pm or 3pm

Cabaret

Aled Lloyd Rees - Cabaret Producer

Do you have an idea for a cabaret show? Are you looking for advice or interested in developing work in cabaret?

Aled Lloyd Rees is hosting informal conversations as an opportunity to share ideas, ask questions and explore how your work could develop, all in a relaxed setting over a coffee.

Whether you are an emerging artist or already creating work, Aled is keen to connect, listen and support the growth of cabaret in Wales. Sessions with Aled are 7th August and 25th September 2026 at 10am, 11.30am, 1.30pm or 3pm.

The session can be in person or online. When you sign up, please email artists@wmc.org.uk to let us know the following:

  1. A little about you
  2. Your preference for an In-Person or Online meeting
  3. A little about what you'd like to chat about, if you know!
  4. Whether you'd like your meeting to be conducted in Cymraeg or English.
