Tori Scott brings her brand new unfiltered show, The Audacity, to Wales Millennium Centre.
Reflecting on her move from the USA to the UK, Tori will take you on a musical roller coaster through culture shock, assimilating, dating disasters, and deeply questionable life choices, The Audacity is a celebration of starting over, speaking up, spending your savings, and stealing songs from people who probably won’t notice. Tori serves powerhouse vocal and irreverent storytelling in what Theatre Tonic called “the sleekest cabaret I’ve ever seen!”
This is the epitome of what cabaret should be about. She bares her soul enough to never be maudlin, but we feel we’ve got to know her….I’d give her six stars if I could.
Most recently, Tori appeared in the critically acclaimed Guys and Dolls at London’s Bridge Theatre, playing General Cartwright and Good Time Charley Bernstein and in the UK tour of The Cher Show. Her Edinburgh Fringe hit Tori Scott is Thirsty! was nominated for Best Cabaret by Broadway World. She’s toured internationally with her acclaimed solo shows and shared the stage with stars like RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bianca Del Rio, Broadway and TV’s Cheyenne Jackson, and Drag Race UK’s La Voix.
Tori is just the tip of a goldmine of material, and it’s a wonderful time to spend with an infectiously entertaining performer. Give us more, Tori.
