Come and join us at Teras this summer; take in the views, enjoy a drink in the sun and treat your taste buds to some mouth-watering street food.

Eating and drinking at Teras

Teras is our outdoor venue where you can eat and drink while soaking up the sunshine and atmosphere of Cardiff Bay.

We're open weekdays 11am - 8pm and weekends from 12pm - 8pm – there’s no need to book, just turn up. Each month we'll be featuring new styles of street food from some of Cardiff’s best independent traders, so you'll find a plate for every palate!

Our tables are currently set up for groups of four people (including those from different households) in order to maintain social distancing.

Arriving at Teras

When you arrive you'll be asked you to leave details for track and purposes. *Every guest over 16 must bring photo ID for track and trace purposes. 

You’ll then make your way to your designated table and can buy some street food en route. Once you reach your table you can remove your face covering, relax and and order some drinks!

What Covid safety measures do you have in place?

NHS Track, Trace, Protect measures in place when booking.

Masks must be worn until seated.

Limited number of tables available for social distancing.

Four people per table.

Mobile contactless payment and table service drinks ordering.

Guests are asked to remain seated whenever possible.

Staff will wear appropriate PPE at all times

24/7 security team and enhanced CCTV system to make sure your visit is safe and enjoyable.

Regular hand washing by all staff.

Hand sanitisers available on every table.

Clear social distancing signage throughout the venue.

Increased cleaning measures in place at the venue.

Do I need to wear a mask?

All guests are required to wear a face covering/ mask whilst visiting us but this can be removed once you've been seated at your designated table by our team.

How do I order food and drink?

To order drinks, scan a QR code with your phone, place your order and wait for your drinks to be delivered to your table. If you can't scan the QR code then just ask a member of staff to help with your drinks order. You can buy street food yourself from our pop-up vendors whenever you like.

Do you have any toilets or changing facilities?

Yes, our signposted toilets and changing facilities are situated inside our main building and follow social distancing measures. They are regularly cleaned and monitored by staff at all times.

 From May - June 2021 we have the following delicious cuisines for you to try:

Queen Pepiada

Queen Pepiada will be serving up a bite of Venezuela in the form of arepas to warm your heart and transport you straight to the beach in El Caribe! These guys serve up their arepas with some epic toppings, including shredded beef, grated cheese and avocado and the chefs love watching the reactions of customers tasting their first arepas, as they bite into South American culture and cuisine. With gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options, come and  immerse yourself in some South American culture this summer.

Artisan Desserts

Artisan Desserts are absolutely mouth-watering, serving up the most delicious desserts, including waffles and crepes topped with all the classic favourites - from Kinder Bueno to Banoffee. Or perhaps you fancy a French Kiss? White chocolate, coconut and raspberries all wrapped up a traditional crepe. Whatever you choose, you're in for a sweet treat.

Greek Flavours

These guys really will be providing Greek Flavours with their classic dishes, including souvlaki, gyros, moussaka and more. Greek Flavours has been ranked as the best place to eat in Swansea and is now expanding across South Wales to Cardiff Bay. Alex, the founder believes people love his food because it brings back summer holiday memories so pop down to Cardiff Bay this summer and enjoy a slice of Greece.

3 Amigos

Olé! Pop on your imaginary sombrero as 3 Amigos transports you from Cardiff Bay to Mexico with an epic Mexican menu, from Jackfruit quesadillas to Tequila Pork tacos! This summer they’ll be cooking up an explosion of flavours, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Bar at Teras

We're offering a wide selection of  delicious drinks including Glamorgan Welsh lager and cider in cans, Camden Hells and Corona on draught, passion fruit and expresso Martinis plus a selection of wines, gins and mixers. 

We'll also have sustainable juices from Flawsome, recyclable cans of sparkling and still water from Can O Water and an array of hot beverages served in fully compostable cups.
