Co-produced by the Centre and Gagglebabble as part of Festival of Voice this part murder mystery/ part musical had plenty of twists and turns.

For this production our Rehearsal Room 3 was turned into a huge cruise ship (the Empress of the Sea) with the audience being seated in a 1950s inspired mock-cinema arrangement.

The technically ambitious production delivered breath-taking projections and full 3D sound which gave audiences a truly multi-sensory experience.

The entire show was delivered with accessibility at its core - particularly for people with impaired vision - with plenty of description and lit in a way that enabled the whole audience to enjoy the performance.

Using a see-through screen in front of the stage, the cast blended live action, shadow-work, silhouettes and computer-generated projections with an original live score, fronted by 9Bach’s Lisa Jên.

What transpired was a thrilling ride through the darkness of the human psyche, inspired by Alfred Hitchcock and Ernest Lehman’s unfinished script, ‘The Blind Man’. A story about friendship, perception and betrayal.
