Dewch i mewn

Lovecraft (Not the Sex Shop in Cardiff) is a one-woman science/comedy/music show co-produced with the Centre that made its debut during Festival of Voice 2018.

Drawing from personal experiences, Carys combines smart and ludicrously funny songs (The Love Monger, Space and Time, Tit Montage) with heartfelt tales on a journey to unravel the inner workings of love.

Why does love makes us do crazy things and why is having a cwtch (hug) so important?

"Each anecdote invites an eclectic musical performance, ranging from the heavy metal enjoyed in her first relationship, to ballads and pop."

Wales Arts Review

Following her success at the Centre, vivacious and hilarious, BAFTA Cymru nominee Carys took her much-loved Welsh charm (and Oxytocin) to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018 and 2019 and down under to the Adelaide Fringe in 2019 where it picked up a Best Cabaret award.

Autumn 2019 sees Carys' return to Ffresh to perform the show in English as well as a new Welsh adaptation (Cer i Grafu...sori...GARU!) as part of Performances for the Curious 2019, the culmination of an 10-venue tour across Wales.
