Your Voice was our community-led project multimedia arts exhibition encapsulating the lives, hopes and dreams of our audiences and communities at a unique moment in history.

During the first lockdown in May 2020, in a time of disconnection, we asked our audiences to connect through creation, to look to the future and to free their minds and imagine what life, the arts and the world could be like in the future.

Conceived by our community team led by Senior Producer Gemma Hicks and visually curated by Brad Caleb Lee, Your Voice told the story of 2020-21.

Artworks were sent from across Wales – from Pembrokeshire to Newport, Builth Wells to Caernarfon, and by artists aged 4 to 90 years old. The pieces included paintings, spoken word recordings, digital art, photography, installation, mixed media and film.

At the heart of the exhibition was a giant, four-storey crochet tree installation, embellished with crochet flowers, animals and poetry.
