INVITATION TO HOST A COMMUNITY EVENT AT Wales Millennium Centre
Do you have an idea that could bring people together through culture, creativity and celebration? We’re looking for a community group or organisation to take over Cabaret for a special event in January 2027.
Each year, we create opportunities for communities to take centre stage in our spaces, bringing people together to connect, share and celebrate.
This January, we’re inviting applications to host one community-led event in Cabaret. We want to hear your ideas for an event that reflects your community, creates meaningful connections and gives people a reason to come together.
What We’re Looking For
We’re open to ideas for community events in all their forms. Your proposal should tell us:
- What you’d like to do
- Who the event is for
- How your community will be involved
- What you hope people will experience or take away from the event
The successful event will take place in Cabaret, our vibrant space for emerging, eclectic and diverse talent.
When and Where
Venue: Cabaret
Available dates: 15 or 16 January 2027
The final date will be agreed with the successful applicant.

- Standard DBS
- Right to work documentation
- Appropriate insurance
- Risk assessment
