Get comfy and cosy and enjoy three short winter films by Efa Blosse-Mason and Casi Wyn.

Our winter trilogy includes the beautiful Dawns Y Ceirw (Deer Dance), Calon Rew, which is about a creature whose heart has turned to ice, and a newly commissioned animation called Sêr a Rhubanau (Stars and Ribbons) which will premiere here from 20 December, just in time for Christmas!

No need to book. The animations will be played on a loop throughout the day and are free for everyone to enjoy.

Shown in partnership with Wales Broadcast Archive.

With support from Arts Council Wales, the National Lottery, Welsh Government, The National Library of Wales, BBC, ITV and S4C.

Efa Blosse-Mason is an animator and filmmaker from Cardiff. Efa studied animation at Bristol School of Animation and in 2019 won the Royal Television Society Award for Best Undergraduate Animation for her film Earthly Delights.

Casi Wyn is a composer, singer and poet. Casi held the role of Bardd Plant Cymru 2021-2023 (Welsh-language Children’s Laureate), a national ambassadorial role which aims to inspire and empower children and young people across Wales through literature.
