About the Centre

Wales Millennium Centre is Wales’ national home for the performing arts in Cardiff Bay. One of the UK’s top cultural attractions and home to eight resident partners, this Welsh landmark stages musicals, opera, ballet, circus and contemporary dance alongside the UK’s largest programme of free performances.

Festival of Voice

Taking place at venues all over Cardiff in June 2016, this new international festival features local, national and global artists in ten days and nights of inspiring performances, new commissions and UK exclusives.

Art Exhibitions

The Centre hosts a regular programme of exhibitions by a wide range of established and emerging artists, across a wide range of mediums.

Free Performances

There are free performances on offer most lunchtimes and early evenings featuring a range of styles from jazz, traditional, classical, world, choirs, brass through to readings and performance literature – all free for our visitors to enjoy.
