Venue Operations

The Venue Operations portfolio includes Estates Management, Stage Technical, and Safety & Security departments. It ensures that Wales Millennium Centre complies with all statutory legislation and that cost effective services are delivered to a consistently and suitably high standard at all times.

The Estates Management department is responsible for functions including facilities management, building related projects, preventative maintenance, maintenance and electrical works, cleaning, ISO 14001 and the environment, licensing and insurance.

The Stage Technical department is responsible for the technical aspects of the stage and theatre and also the provision of other technical support at the Centre.

The Safety & Security department is responsible for the provision of a safe and secure environment in and around the Centre, liaison with the relevant external authorities, large event planning and management, and Health and Safety.
