Clare Marie Bailey is a photographer and film maker who grew up on Anglesey where she currently lives. Her work is heavily influenced by arthouse cinema, B Movies, ‘Trash’ Culture and magical iconography.
Parallel Lives is a collection of analogue films that play out like half-forgotten TV miniatures from a pre-internet childhood, dream visions from a parallel reality. Infused with hauntological folk horror and fairy tale surrealism, they offer a glimpse into a world where the boundaries of reality are blurred, bridging the seen and unseen.
Followed by a Q&A.
