Public Call Out: Creative Workshops 2024-25

We’re looking for individuals or organisations to run fun and engaging intergenerational creative workshops to be delivered in our Lolfa community space.

We are looking for two 3–4 hour workshops that can be open access or bookable depending on the session, and they can be programmed any time of the year.

We would like these sessions to be intergenerational and accessible for all – these could range from needlework and knitting, drumming and singing to writing punk poetry or doing Easter crafts.

The workshops will be programmed through our participatory budgeting model whereby all applicants vote on which application they feel best fits the brief. This is to ensure that our programme is democratically created by you, the community.

● We are looking for workshops that can take place between now and March 2024.

● The budget for these sessions is £700 for two sessions including materials.

You can read about our previous Public Art Call Out: Winter for more information on how participatory budgeting works and read about all our creative opportunities.
