Join us for an Open Rehearsal at the Dance House, Wales Millennium Centre – home of National Dance Company Wales.
Get a behind the scenes look at how dance is made as we open the rehearsal room doors to the public.
‘Zoetrope’ by legendary choreographer Lea Anderson is a new work made with NDCWales, inspired by early animation and the spirit of the fairground. The stage will be flooded with illusions and exhilarating movement patterns.
Join us to see how Zoetrope is brought to life.
Zoetrope will be performed at the Dance House this December.
What is a Zoetrope?
A zoetrope is a pre-film animation device that produces the illusion of motion by displaying a sequence of drawings or photographs showing progressive phases of that motion.
Can’t make it in person? This rehearsal will also be streamed online – visit NDCWales's website to watch.
