For several years now, Compagnie DK-BEL has been presenting shows that feature dancers with and without disabilities. Very often, the feedback from the audience is simply: "It's beautiful..."

From a starting point of poet Charles Baudelaire’s notion of Beauty as linked to the bizarre, to strangeness, to chaos, to pain and the fragility of beings, C'est BEAU! explores how beauty can actually be a conduit between personal and collective and even universal emotion.

The piece offers the world a gentle and non-conformist vision of beauty, borrowed from these different concepts and performed in symbiosis with its audiences’ own perceptions.
