LAWRENCE ABU HAMDAN brought his interest in sound and its intersection with politics to Festival of Voice 2016.

Commissioned by Wales Millennium Centre and Artes Mundi, Abu Hamdan’s latest body of research was performed at Festival of Voice as a live audio essay, employing a series of sonic manipulations and pre-recorded samples designed to question the fundamental ways in which we speak, listen and are heard today.
