During the festival you'll be able to experience a number of free public performances throughout the building - including pop-up dance pieces, immersive 360 films, audio installations, panel discussions and youth theatre productions.

In the Glanfa foyer

All day: Power Wall. Find out more about the Powerful Interventions production, commissioned through the Together Stronger partnership between Wales Millennium Centre and Valleys Kids, and tell us what 'power' means to you.

All day: Pencil Breakers involves original pieces of writing from queer, disabled and activist voices. Find four eye-catching, hand-painted posters inside the Glanfa foyer and scan the QR code to read or listen to each story.

3pm - 9pm: Ripples of Kindness VR experience located next to Caffi in the Glanfa foyer. This new communal virtual reality experience is inspired by the stories of Hussein Amiri and his family (The Boy with Two Hearts), who were forced to flee Afghanistan in 2000.

3pm - 3.30pm and 6pm - 6.30pm (BSL by Sami Dunn): The Storm. Penygraig Youth Theatre present a 30-minute theatre performance about love, loyalty and belonging.

5pm - 5.30pm (BSL by Sami Dunn): Leanne. Emerging artist Hannah Lad performs a hilarious and gut-punching one woman act as ‘Leanne’- a young girl waiting for a job interview.

In Function Room 6

1pm - 2.30pm (English) / 4.30pm - 6pm (Welsh): Creative Associate Jo Fong and artist Sonia Hughes present Neither Here Nor There, a series of short conversations - funny, intimate, powerful and patient - taking place in pairs over six minutes between Sonia and Jo, and Eddie Ladd and Sara McGaughey. This “inspiring and heartfelt” experience starts with a short walk and unfolds into a playfully crafted, luxurious time to think, listen and see the people we live amongst.

In the exhibition space

All day: Company of Sirens, in collaboration with Sight Life Wales, presents With Eyes Closed a film  exploring music related memories. Featuring performers with sight loss, the film is a collection of personal stories, exploring the nature of memory and storytelling itself. Directed by Chris Durnall and Angharad Matthews. Assistant Director Tafsila Khan. Lighting Designer Cara Hood. Music Stacey Blythe.

All day: Vessels is a spoken word poem by Creative Associate Jaffrin Khan exploring the societal pressures of body image. The piece looks at how the cosmetics industry, the media and our relationships affect how we see ourselves. Motivated by lived experiences, Jaffrin used personal anecdotes as inspiration.

All day: The Successors of Mandingue, a film by Tim Short looking at the music and dance of this energetic West African collaboration, with dancers from Wales and Senegal and music by N’famady Kouyaté.

All day: Unlikely Heroes - The Curse of the Doughnut, a 30 minute audio drama installation playfully exploring identity, gender and sexuality. Age guidance: 14+

12pm - 11pm: Sounds of City Road. Created by Creative Associate Ruslan Pilyarov, this piece stitches together scenes from local businesses on City Road, allowing you to immerse yourself in the many different languages and cultures that make the area so vibrant.

In the Weston Studio

7pm - 10pm: Ladies of Rage come together to present an evening of music, featuring the live premiere of Harddwch Du - 'Black Beauty' - a five-part EP made by Womxn of Colour.
