Our Youth Theatre makers have been busy over the last few weeks devising, writing and developing A Sketched World.  

A young artist wakes up in a strange, magical and unknown world. To get the answers she needs, she'll join a ragtag group of a fairytale prince, a mad scientist, a stone-cold detective and many more on their quest to defeat the world's greatest supervillain. Inspired by the escapism and freedom of stories and imagination, A Sketched World encourages its characters, and its audience, to find the courage to dream.  

Our Youth Theatre is for 14–17-year-olds who are interested in making theatre that is relevant to the world we live in today. Something that speaks to them. They have been guided by professional practitioners and youth workers to develop theatre and performance skills in a friendly and inclusive environment.  

Along the way, they have been able to develop an understanding of all the elements that go into making great theatre, from researching and developing ideas through to set design and learning how to deliver a stellar performance.
