The Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess launched his Listening Parties back in March 2020 as the UK went into its first lockdown.

Having become a massive success over the past year, Burgess’ Listening Party is a listen-and-tweet-along event, which at an appointed time.

You stream or play the album under discussion, jump on Twitter and interact by reading tweets and asking questions about songs and the musicians who made them and share relevant memories, thoughts, theories.

As part of Gŵyl 2021 Tim selected albums from psychedelic Welsh pop trio, Islet and Scottish indie rockers, Arab Strap.

It’s also a lovely opportunity to listen to an album in its entirety again.
