We're excited to announce a brand new project set to revolutionise our spaces inside, creating exciting new studios for everyone to get creative in.
Over the years we've provided numerous creative learning and community projects for schools, young people, and communities, with much of this work taking place as outreach, or in spaces within our building originally designed to hold functions and conferences.
And while these spaces have been incredibly useful as temporary spaces, they were not designed for the range of workshops we're now running such as: film and costume making, dance, drama or even set building.
As our programmes have developed the need for purpose built spaces has become more and more apparent. Imagine what young people and our vibrant communities across Wales could create if we were able to provide them with space of their own to experiment and create in?
Following a lengthy consultation period with groups of young people and community members (making up our design group) the first imaginings of what these spaces could offer was realised.
This exciting new project will open up a world of creativity within our walls through the development of purpose built, multi-use spaces for the exploration of creativity and expression.
